I have made so many Battenberg cakes that I am now dreaming about the things. The first lot have a fairly dark red jam and the second lot have a lighter colour jam, both look very tasty to me as Battenberg is my favourite cake. One of these will be going on to my cake counter and the rest onto plates and cake stands for sale in my Etsy shop.
I am thinking about making some Union jack coloured Battenberg and some Halloween ones in orange and green, any other suggestions are welcome.
I have also made some tiny cake knives as I was not happy with the quality of the commercial knives available and some cake boards, these will be going into my shop as soon as I have made enough.

I can see me adorning my home with your pretties... and eating them when I'm too sleepy to remember that they aren't for munching on. They look precious and (realistically) delicious!
